Depends: On what you are taking it for. If your are taking it to keep your heart rate down the concern is a rebound tachycardia (fast heart rate). Speak with your doctor asap.

I've been on metoprolol for 4 weeks and olmesartan for 2--both for high bp. I hated the side effects .PA's putting me on new rx. PA said stop everything & take olmesartan with diuretic. Thought I shouldn't abruptly stop beta blcker. I'm worried?
