What can an elevated d dimer mean when ct scan stress test and echo were all normal but i still feel ill and tired?

Inflammation: D-dimer is more useful when negative, as a negative test more or less rules out thrombo-embolism. There are many causes for elevated d-dimer, including inflammation.
