Need Rx: Cystic lesions require a physician's supervision (a systemic antibiotic, probably with a combined topical therapy) and generally if they are deep, a dermatologist's (isotretinoin, lasers, more). This is the 21st century and there is no reason that even cystic acne cannot be managed.
