Perhaps: For elderly women given estrogen years after their hysterectomy there was a concern about breast cancer. You must talk to the doctor who is prescribing the estrogen about your risk based on your family history and how long you will be on estrogen.

No: You should be taking a normal dose of estrogen and still getting mammograms.
