Post Void Dribble: This is caused by a pooling of urine in the middle segment of the male urethra called the bulbar urethra. Thought to be secondary to atrophy of muscles around that segment that supports it. When you finish urinating, use the pads of 1-2 fingers to exert a firm, upward pressure behind your scrotum. Move the fingers forward in a stroking motion. Stroking will assist in “milking”out the trapped urine.
