Yes: Be sure to practice proper ergonomics. If your at a keyboard, use a wrist rest, keep wrists straight and don't overextend or flex while typing. Take breaks to stretch the tissues across the wrist- usually flexion/ extension of the wrist, hands, and fingers. Try to keep items you use frequently close at hand to avoid repetitive reaching and grasping. Carpal tunnel syndrome is an overuse problem.

Stretch: There are a few exercises that can help cts. Take your hand and bend your wrist backwards until you feel a stretch. There are pictures of this if you do w web search.
