Yes and No: Excessive tylenol (acetaminophen) consumption can damage the liver - but would not have a specific effect on weight loss. Liver function is vital to life, but a normally functioning liver does not regulate one's weight.

Liver: The use of Tylenol now and then should not be an issue. If using Tylenol or Acetominephen daily then liver problems can be of concern.
