Tongue bumps: Could be many things.... Most of the time, when people come to me with prominent red bumps on their tongue or a thin whitish film, it's actually normal. There are some things like geographic tongue, glossits, black hairy tongue and thrush that are characteristic in appearance, so if this has been going on for a while, i suggest seeing your doc. It's easier to diagnose these things with a pic.
