No difference: Assuming hip replacement is indicated based on clinical exam and xrays, you will likely have a good result regardless of the use of prp. Prp might not help but probably won't hurt.

It might help!: If your physician injects or bathes the tendons with either direct visualization or ultrasound you may have some improvemnent in the tendon issues. The literature is scarce regarding improvment in arthritis to begin with, let alone after a thr. I agree, it may not help, but it certainly wont hurt. Good luck!
