I had a doppler ultrasound done where they checked my blood flow. they check both legs/arms/pelvic area. test came back abnormal. what could it be?

Narrowed artery: I imagine you were having cramps in your legs after walking some distance? The abnormal peripheral doppler study was most likely expressed as an elevated ankle-brachial index. This is a ratio of the blood pressure between the arm and ankle. Values between .9 & 1.0 are considered normal. Below .9 suggests artery narrowing and above 1.2 suggests hardening of the arteries.
