Likely No: When the period is either back to back too close together or very far apart, then the likelihood of ovulation is low. The chance that there is something physically wrong like a polyp or a fibroid causing the bleeding is increased. So you should definitely be fully evaluated to see why the bleeding is abnormal.

Unsure: It is not normal to have bleeding every other day. You need to see your doctor to determine what is going on with the bleeding.
