See a doctor: See a doctor as soon as you can. Normal couples should conceive within 1 year, no need to delay, get started with a good doctor and get help.

Fertility Specialist: The chances of a couple conceiving after having 3 years of difficulty is very low, around 1% or less per month. The chance of something identifiable causing the problem is very high. A fertility specialist can help with that, whether the problem involves the sperm, the eggs, the tubes, the uterus, or even fertilization. At any age, the longer you wait for treatment, the lower the success rate.
