Pain after PID...: ...is quite common. Sometimes it indicates persistent infection, although usually it's due to internal scar tissue (pelvic adhesions). The original cause of the PID doesn't make much difference. It shouldn't be difficult to sort out the cause and find effective treatment. Return to the doctor who treated your PID, or a gynecologist if one wasn't involved at that time. Good luck!

See a doctor: If the pain is still there for 6 weeks it is not normal. Please go and see your primary doctor or your OBGYN to find out why you still have pain. You might need some tests also.
