Tear may progress: Thought you describe a partial tear in the meniscus by mri, you may still have symptoms. A slight tear or partial tear is likely to worsen over time possibly necessitating arthroscopic surgery ive had patients with partial tears and grade 2 meniscal damage who are found to have tears on arthroscopic surgery.

See ortho doc: If the meniscus is torn and having knee symptoms, then get eval by ortho doc to see if meniscus is causing pain. In the meantime, avoid twisting, squatting, etc.

Time to see Dr.: With continued symptoms, it is time for a complete re-evaluation of your knee, which may include another MRI. See your Doctor for a referral.
