Specializes in Pain Management

Pain Specialist: At this point i would recommend a pain specialist if you are not already seeing one. Pain from chronic pancreatitis is tough to treat. You may benefit from medication management with a sustained release opioid and some occasional immediate release meds for flares. A celiac plexus block may help with the chronic nature of the pain. Spinal cord stimulation can also be helpful.
