Have been experiencing severe stomach & back pain, pain after eating and fatigue for approximately 4 months now.. diagnosed with severe grove pancreatitis , also had bowel obstruction. hospitalised twice.. is this acute or chronic pancreatitis? thnx?

Both acute/chronic : Technically this is acute relapsing pancreatitis. Regardless of name, potentially very serious. Often caused by an abnormality in the pancreatic or common bile duct. Probably need an abdominal MRI scan (or similar), perhaps transfer to a tertiary care center (if feasible). Best of luck.
