??not gaining??: A baby girl born at an average weight at 37 wks is actually at average weight at 11wks if she weighs 11lb. The best way to come up with good growth expectations for your baby is to have regular followup with your pcp and have growth parameters plotted on a growth chart at each visit. If the plotted features show that growth is slowing, proper testing can be done.
