Difficulty in swallowing is sign of hiv? how long does headache persist in hiv? periodic or continuous?

Not frequently: There are no signs and symptoms which are specific to HIV disease. Difficulty swallowing can be due to many causes, and headaches can be either continuous or periodic depending upon their cause. If you feel you may have been exposed to HIV you should be tested asap, because the earlier therapy is begun the better the outcome. You can live a long life if this is treated.

Agree with Dr. R: If you have any concerns, get tested. HIV is treatable.
