Cancer unlikely.: The symptoms you describe are not likely to be prostate cancer. You should see your physician or urologist for an evaluation, where a detailed history, physical exam, and a urinalysis with culture can be performed. Once a diagnosis is made, follow the treatment recommendations carefully. If it is an infection, a prostate cancer risk assessment can be made after treatment is complete.
