Depends: Asthma is a lung disease. There is no such thing as skin asthma. Don't know who told you that, may be eczema which is a skin disease related to asthma. If that is what your son has, there are creams and ointments that can relieve it. At any rate, see a doctor. And please let me know if that answers your question. I would love to know where skin asthma came from!

Skin conditions: Children have many skin conditions through childhood. Most are self resolving, or respond to over the counter salves, particularly the zinc oxide ointments. Okay to start with your circle of friends, then your local pharmacist for advise. If no resolution, then okay to take your child in for a doc to exam. Be well.

Eczema : Is very common with people who suffer from asthma. They may be mild to severe. They can get severely infected from scratching due to intense itching. Compliance , proper care & treatment w different potency topical steroids depending on severity should calm the eczema and your baby should be able to sleep through the night! need prescriptions from your pediatrician though. Otc not strong enough.
