You need 2: You need a good psychiatrist and a good primary care doc. I suggest you talk to friends about the primary care doc who can then get you in to theother. Don't delay. You can also contact the local medical society or if you like the answers of one of the docs on this site go see them.

Bipolar: If you have not seen a psychiatrist already, best way to find a good one is to ask your primary care physician who can make the referral, or to contact the local mental health center for a list of providers.
