Mania: Excessively elevated, euphoric, irritable mood. Decreased need for sleep. Excessive energy. Impulsiveness. Inflated self esteem. Rapid thoughts. Rapid speech. Duration is greater then one week. Daily function is impaired other non psychiatric causes have been excluded.
