I am not sure : If it feels better from a placebo effect. It is easier to diagnose a dermatological condition by looking at it versus a general description. So a visit to the derm or podiatrist is recommended. The tingling may or may not be associated. For example, shingles is a derm condition that can cause tingling, even athletes foot which this does not sound like can cause tingling. Visit the doc.
