Scabs or crusting?: Scabs form at sites of injury such as from picking ones nose too vigorously or blowing the nose so hard that blood vessels break. Crusting can be from dryness of drainage. Keep nasal passages moist with saline nasal spray. Avoid digital trauma; don't blow nose forcefully. If purulent drainage, see doc for evaluation.
