HBP: What do you mean by abbreviation-- hbp? Is it ' high blood pressure' ? If so then one of the medications used to treat bp-- ace inhibitors can cause this 'cough' and a feeling of lump in throat. Consult your doctor if that is the case-- meds need to be changed!
