Lichen amyloid RX: Lichen amyloidosis is an intensely itchy eruption. There is deposition of amyloid deposits in lichen amyloidosis as a result of itching and scratching. Treatment modalities are directed toward the relief of itching, include: antihistamines, menthol, topical and intralesional corticosteroids, 0.1% topical tacrolimus ointment, topical dimethyl sulfoxide (dmso), etretinate , acitretin, even laser.
