Lichen Planus: Lichen planus will wax and wane. It is a chronic rash of unknown cause with no cure, may be itchy and poorly understood by medicine. It can be managed with medication both topical and oral. It may resolve on its own. Wish i could help more; see your dermatologist to manage this disease.

No cure: Lichen planus is an autoimmune disorder with no cure. The symptoms can be treated when are present or painful. It can be in many forms from ulcers to patched of inflammation. It can attack any skin related surface from mouth, outer skin to genital. It is important to keep it in check since it can have some serious complications. There are numbing rinses, use of steroids, to new medications.
