A member asked:

Is melatonin prevent cancer ..!?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Retrospective studies in epidemiology generate a huge amount of junk data. The stuff about melatonin and breast cancer didn't hold up. Melatonin has other uses, but if you take extra to prevent cancer, you'll just make yourself sleepy and ineffective. You'll do better simply keeping up with the usual cancer screening that's responsible for most of the lives saved.
