Sterilization yes: The decision to be sterilized should be made voluntary and with your sinificant other. You do meet criteria, usually above 30 and no wish for further children. Most common procedure is a tubal ligation/"tubes tied". You will need to check with a gyn for details. Complication rate is 1/1000 and may include infection, bleeding, injury to bowel and bladder. Alternative is male sterilization/vasectomy.
