Generalized Anxiety: Anxiety can take over your waking thoughts and prevent you from coping effectively. Yes, one can have a generalized anxiety disorder. Try keeping a log of what triggers the anxiety (people, situations, lack of food or sleep). It is important to get daily exercise, about 30 minutes of brisk walking. Talk with your partner or a trusted friend. Consider appt with a psychologist if it gets worse.

Anxiety: When anxiety gets to this extent it can be overwhelming for friends and family to try to help. It is best to consult with a Clinical Psychologist to get help. Medications can also help with this.
