A member asked:

Should i buy health insurance for a trip abroad? what kind?

Yes : Most health insurance does not cover care outside of the country. I think that it is possible to purchase insurance to cover your health care needs when you are traveling abroad--perhaps through aaa. You may choose to get a high deductible insurance that would cover a castrophic event. If you are not in good health, it is even more important to have some insurance coverage.
