What is happening in the us? gp said germs causing bladder infections are getting smarter

Resistance: When bacteria are treated for a long time with antibiotics they mutate to a bacteria that becomes resistant to antibiotic. We then try a new antibiotic and the cycle starts over. It is a hard battle as germs(bacteria) can reproduce every 20 minutes.
