Dental cleaning: I assume you are referring to tobacco staining. This type of staining is very tenacious and difficult to remove. The only real option is to see your dentist about getting your teeth cleaned. A special instrument called an ultrasonic scaler is often required to effectively remove tobacco stain.

See your dentist: The tar is heavy plaque buildup which is biofilm, bacteria, and minerals from your saliva which hardens the tar or buildup and we call it calculus. Your dentist must remove it with dental instruments or cleaning. You can prevent it from coming back by brushing and flossing frequently.
