Absolutely: D-amphetamine was one of the earliest stimulants used to treat adhd and is the active half of adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine). It has long been off patent and is not actively marketed, but it works well, including a sustained-released form called Dexedrine spansule. However, it can be quite hard to obtain now, with newer forms of stimulants having taken its place.

Yup: That's Dextroamphetamine (dexedrine, dextrostat, major ingredient in adderall). Very effective for decades in treating adhd successfully without significant ill effects when properly used and monitored.
