Ultraviolet light : Evidence has shown that some repigmentation of the areas involved with vitiligo can occur after treatment with ultraviolet light. There is also a laser that can help this condition ask your dermatologist about these treatments.

Waxes and wanes: Medical treatment isn't always necessary for vitiligo if the patches of skin aren't noticeable and are small. Treatment for vitiligo can take up to 18 months, and you may have to try several different treatment to find the one that works best. A dermatologist can walk you through the treatment options.

Treatment: Not truly a cure but rather very good treatments. The best person to discuss this with is a rheumatologist and/or dermatologist. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/pmh0001834/.
