Vitiligo tx: Monobenzone is used to treat the uneven appearance of the skin due to a loss of skin color (vitiligo). It works by permanently removing color from normal skin located around skin with vitiligo. This will help to make the appearance of the skin more even. Assure this is the diagnosis for tx. Some side effects are permanent loss of skin color, possible irritation, increased sun burn (use spf).
