A member asked:

What is an si joint problem?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sacroiliac joint : The sacroiliac joints are in the posterior pelvis. There are right and left sacroiliac joints. Pain can occur from strain, or from inflammation due to infection or due to arthritis characteristically from a group of arthritis syndromes called spondyloarthropathies which can involve one or both sacroiliac joints and can sometimes cause inflammatory back arthritis.
