Topical cream, shoes: Avoid excessive wear of backless shoes. Keep skin moist and well hydrated wuth cream. Proper shoes and inserts. Consult with podiatrist.

Urea: Find a urea based lotion (that is 20%-40% urea), and apply daily to heels. If the heel are thick and cracking, try soaking in warm water for 20 minutes, then apply the urea based cream/lotion. Clarus -(kera-42) works very well, unfortunately it is only sold to doctors offices.
