My son got a cut on his foot and there is sand in there. but i can not seem to get the same out, it is just so calloused. what should i do?

Try soaking his foot: in warm water, without any soap or other additives. You can also try flushing it with water under the faucet. If there still seems to be sand in it, I would recommend having his foot checked by his doctor, or if you are away, at an Urgentcare center. They can look at it and also should have better tools for cleaning it.
