Generally yes: Your skin integrity and quality is generally inherited. However, there are many environmental and medical factors that an have a profound effect on the heels. . Mild heel dryness does not tend to be a concern. If it is getting worse you need to keep after it religiously with otc products for heel dryness or callous particularly. For severe cracking or callous see your podiatrist.
