Folliculitis: Folliculitis is caused by a bacterial infection down in the air unit or follicle. This infection can because by many different types of bacteria and can be passed between people and/or partners by direct contact. This all depends on the sensitivities of the person who encounters t bacteria. Some people already have resistance to most of the strains and will not catch the disease.
