A member asked:

What causes my ring finger and pinky finger to tingle, go numb and shocks?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nerve pinching: The location of your problem is in the distribution of the ulnar nerve, and there may be compression at the elbow, wrist, or even higher in the chest or shoulder. This can be readily evaluated on physical exam, and can be further studied, if necessary by an EMG test.
