A member asked:

Are there artificial colors in liquid vitamin pills?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: A liquid cannot be a pill! unfortunately the industry adds food coloring agents to everything, both pills and liquid. There is some evidence that some kids react to food dyes, particularly the red and orange colored. The reasons are 1. To cover bad taste and 2. To make it more attractive visually so that it sells.
