Almost anything: New technology has made it probable to do almost all varicose vein procedures in the office setting with minimal discomfort and is usually tolerated well.

Everything: Treatment of venous insufficiency is office based procedure: endovenous ablation, microphlebectomy, sclerotherapy are conveniently done as an outpatient, usually only using local anesthesia.

Whatever is needed: Anything in the superficial venous system (varicose veins) that requires treatment can be treated in an office setting, with local anesthetic, no sedation, and essentially no down time. After the procedure, you just get up and walk out.

I take an issue : As there is different and much better office treatment for varicose veins. Just log in to http://www.Gorenveincenter.Com/minimally-invasive-ambulatory-phlebectomy/. I have done 3500 cases all done in local anesthesia and no down time. It removes the veins does not leave them hopping they remain closed. Unfortunately the ablating techniques are better paid and therefore promoted in full force.
