Mind-body duality: Psychiatric answer--you are exercising and it's not your desire to do so, you could be conflicted and have bad dreams. Physiologic explanation--neurochemical changes induced by exercise could be triggering activation of amygdala or other brain nuclei to produce this phenomenon. Are you conflicted? See a shrink. If you're not, see an internist.

Healthy lifestyle: Nobody knows why anxiety dreams follow heavy exercise in some people. It's not unhealthy. Perhaps the meaning is this -- you exercise, which is a lot more than most people your age do. You are super-tough, a person set apart by your focus on fitness. You can still be a hero during a rough dream. Let others choose the easy path in life; embrace who you are and continue hard working out.
