Anxiety relief: On your own: meditation; breathing exercises; yoga; tai chi; qi gong; guided visualization. Soothing music. Calming baths, massage. Herbs like passion flower, lemon balm, kava, theanine (from green tea) and chamomile. With help: cognitive behavioral therapy and other psychotherapies. Psychiatric medicines like lexapro, celexa, zoloft, effexor (venlafaxine). Facing your fears, and not letting them contain you.
