Yes: Mild conjunctivitis can be associated with eye redness and irritation without crusting/stickiness/discharge. I would recommend trying cool compresses, chilled over-the-counter artificial tears, and observation. If it is getting worse or not resolving, you need to see an eye doctor for a complete evaluation.
