What is the recommended treatment for uterine cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on the stage: Surgery is the most important treatment if surgically resectable. If there is invasion of the myometrium greater than 50%, radiation should be given after surgery. If there are multiple nodes involved or a high grade tumor, chemotherapy may be recommended. If advanced disease, chemotherapy alone, hormone therapy or a clinical trial may be recommended. Hope this helps.
