A member asked:

In a case that iud has moved for 6 mm in cavum ( like the doc said when saw it at ultrasound) - is it still safe birth control? does it mean it is still in uterus but sometimes it just moves ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Still safe: Iuds do move within the uterine cavity. This does not hamper their effectiveness?
