Try a slow-paced...: If looking for a doctor who has the time and patience to listen to a patient's story, to take into account all the medical & non-medical issues, and to provide thorough care, one must find an experienced doctor in a slow-paced office setting. Unfortunately in modern american medicine, that setting is going extinct. Physicians face this same situation when looking for care for their family members.

Health setting?: I'm not sure what you're seeking, with "health setting"? There are many group practices -- especially integrative ones -- which balance compassion & competence. Most individual physicians try to do this also. What to do for a family means finding community resources, physicians, health counseling, etc and putting together a plan. There are health coaches who can help you do this.
